How It Works

1. Choose a Template

Decide if you want to use template data, which includes chores and rewards tailored to your household type: family, couple, house-share, or solo/single. Templates aim to ensure chores are relevant and manageable for everyone in the household.

2. Add Household Members

Add chore doers. Personalize each member with an avatar and background color, making it easy to identify and engage household members. This personalization adds a fun touch and helps everyone feel involved.

3. Review Chore Categories (Optional)

Look at chore categories for future customization. This step allows you to fine-tune chores to match the specific needs and preferences of your household, making the system more efficient and enjoyable.

4. Set Up Chore Planner

Plan chores for the week. Assign chores to specific days or let them be done anytime during the week. Distribute chores among household members and determine fuel tokens earned. Activate or deactivate seasonal chores to keep the plan dynamic and relevant.

5. Customize Rewards

Add or change rewards to suit your household. Set rewards for individuals or the entire household. Determine the number of fuel tokens needed for rewards, balancing small weekly/bi-weekly rewards and larger monthly rewards. This step ensures that everyone is motivated and the rewards are meaningful.

6. Chore To-Do List

Load weekly chores from the planner. Add adhoc chores on specific days or for the week. Mark chores as completed and track fuel tokens earned. This feature keeps everyone on track and ensures that all chores are accounted for and rewarded appropriately.

7. HAVE FUN

When enough fuel tokens have been collected from completed chores, redeem them for some fun rewards. This is the exciting part where all the hard work pays off, and you get to enjoy the rewards of you labour.
